Stuck in a bunker? Call on Dr Ragab!

12:16am Saturday 11th July 2009

By Harris Dee »

WHAT do you do if you get imprisoned in a bunker with no escape route, by a gang of thugs? Call on Dr Ragab of course!

He is a man of mystery and was talked about by everyone in 1920s Cairo but very few actually got the chance to make his acquaintance.

Fewer still get to study his life lessons first hand – well, just the one actually, Hertwig. For it is Hertwig who, at the end of the Second World War, finds himself imprisoned in that German bunker – not just any old bunker but one which he built himself so he made it 100 per cent escape proof.

But perhaps there is a way out thinks Hertwig – by using the Universal Language of Dr Ragab Hertwig he might be able to find the escape route he needs!

This unconventional story will provide you with a gripping read you’ll find hard to put down, which is beautifully written, funny and a colourful read that will open doors you never knew existed! The power of the mind should never be underestimated … It is Robert Twigger’s sixth book.

Dr Ragab’s Universal Language, by Robert Twigger, published by Picador on July 17 (£12.99 hardback).
